With major road works underway on the main access
road into Looe, St Martins Road from Monday 10th
March 2014, there’ll be delays getting in and out of
this historic fishing town until the end of June.
However, as a guest of Barclay House, you won’t
encounter any delays or have to follow any
diversions. St Martins Road remains open to provide
easy access to guests of the hotel, so simply by
booking in with us, you’re taking the stress-free
option to holidaying.
Walking into town from Barclay House via the hotel’s
own pedestrian access which drops you onto the
bottom of St Martins Road is easier still now that
there is no through traffic to encumber you and
takes just a mere 5-10 minutes.
Barclay House is set discretely on the sloping
hillside offering spectacular views over the East
Looe River. Set within 6 acres of gardens and
woodlands, this magnificent Victorian Villa is just
