When we arrived at Barclay House (if you know Looe, Cornwall, it's perched on the top of the East Hill looking down to the little fishing port).

It turned out to be an unexpected delight - food for which any metropolitan restaurant would expect to be awarded a Michelin star, beautiful gardens and a stunning outlook....
