Dear Friends of Barclay House,
Firstly, we would like to say a big ‘Thank
you’ to everyone who attended our ‘Open Day’ last month.
What a great day! Sunshine, champagne, great food and
great company- what more could you ask for? It really was
great to see everyone and get the chance to show off all the
changes we have made here at Barclay House and for all those
of you who couldn’t make it on the day- you are still more
than welcome to pop in anytime!
Terrace Lunches Served on Sundays and Our £19.50 Sunset
Menu Served on Mondays
So, now Summer has well and truly arrived…..it really is the
perfect time to take advantage of our newly refurbished
terrace. What could be better than eating alfresco,
overlooking Looe river estuary and surrounding valleys
sipping Cornish wines?
Our terrace menu is now available on
Sundays from noon until 3:30pm offering individually
priced dishes starting at just £5.95….including the
freshest fish and local steaks barbequed on the
terrace when the weather allows!
Our sunset menu, priced at just £19.50 for 3 courses,
served from 7pm – 9pm on Mondays….all you would expect from
BARCLAY HOUSE but with a slightly more laid back feel to the
evening.
Sunday Lunches and our Sunset Menu are
proving to be very popular so please remember to book ahead!
And don’t forget, dinner is now served Monday-Saturday 7pm –
9pm, whether it’s for a relaxing evening or a more formal
celebration, Barclay House is the perfect location for any
occasion!
A real taste of Cornwall…..
Barclay House really is the perfect base to experience
Cornwall this month. July is packed full with great
events….from Pirate parades in Looe streets, to open air
theatre productions of Shakespeare plays, local fishermen’s
choirs to agricultural shows - Cornwall really is the place

Barclay House Environmental Policy
As part of our developing environmental
policy, why not leave the car at home and visit Cornwall by
train (the scenery really is stunning) and receive 5% off
your stay at Barclay House! Saving the environment and your
wallet all in one go! Our policy includes recycling what we
can, using only local produce and suppliers when possible,
using environmental friendly products….and next winter we
have planned to further reduce our carbon footprint by
completely renewing our boilers and heating suppliers. On
the topic of the environment, we would like to take this
chance to congratulate Gill on her new BTEC award in
Sustainable Tourism.
