Leisure Facilities At Barclay House

Whatever the weather, there is always plenty to do at BARCLAY HOUSE (apart of course, from enjoying our wonderful restaurant, bar, gardens and stunning views!)

Our new state of the art GYMNASIUM was opened in 2008… is fully air-conditioned and benefits from wide screen entertainment as well as having superb changing facilities complete with all-over body shower. In our gymnasium you will also find our relaxing sauna… again, newly fitted in 2008. Chilled mineral water is of course provided free of charge!

In the summer our HEATED OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL is in its own terrace - set in a natural sun trap complete with sun-loungers. This is an ideal way to spend an afternoon whilst looking onto those glorious views of the East Looe Estuary… perhaps whilst enjoying a cool refreshing drink from the bar.

Autumn, Winter and Spring are perhaps the best time to unwind with our HEALTH AND BEAUTY TREATMENTS available at Barclay Lodge which offers some of the most stunning views of the river and countryside beyond. Please click here to see our current treatments price list.

Our facilities are available free of charge to residents and any non-residents spending at least £10 in our bar, restaurant or health and beauty treatments… so, why not combine the use of our leisure facilities with a light lunch and a cold drink on the terrace (lunch out of season by arrangement only please!) to make your stay at BARCLAY HOUSE complete!

Monthly (or longer) membership of our leisure facilities is available to “Friends of Barclay House” only… you can become a “Friend of Barclay House" by clicking here to e-mail us with your contact details. We will then send you our monthly news letter, latest offers and details of our friends leisure club membership! It couldn’t be simpler (or of course, JUST give us a call!).
